Care Instructions
Caring for Your Garments
Made-to-measure clothing rewards a little routine care with years of extra life.
Suits & Coats
- •Dry clean only — no more than a few times a year; frequent dry cleaning wears the canvas.
- •Air the garment on a wide wooden hanger after each wear instead of washing.
- •Steam, don't iron directly. If you must iron, use a pressing cloth on low heat.
- •Store in a breathable garment bag, never plastic.
Shirts
- •Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash for the longest life.
- •Hang to dry — tumble drying shrinks collars and cuffs first.
- •Iron while slightly damp for the cleanest finish.
Trousers
- •Dry clean or gentle wash cold, depending on fabric — check the label sewn at the waistband.
- •Hang by the cuffs on a clamp hanger to let the crease recover naturally.
All Garments
- •Treat stains immediately with cold water — never rub, always blot.
- •Rotate garments; a day of rest between wears doubles the life of any cloth.
- •Your garment's serial number entitles it to our resize and repair service — a repair is always better than a replacement.
